Part of Mishawaka Riverwalk to close August 8 for improvement projects

MISHAWAKA, Ind.—A portion of the Mishawaka Riverwalk will close starting August 8 for improvement projects.

The closure, which runs from Kamm Island to Beutter Park on the river’s south side, is scheduled to last until August 30.

The south end of the cable stayed pedestrian bridge will also be closed.

The closure is due to improvement projects underway near the Riverwalk, which includes a Biergarten, restrooms, parking and significant utility work.

Facility development for the future ice rink will also take place during the closure.

Additional daytime closures will occur in September and October.
