School City of Mishawaka receives grant for STEM education

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – A $99,843 grant from the Indiana Department of Education will make it possible for students in the School City of Mishawaka to become more involved in STEM education.

According to school administrators, Mishawaka is only one of 11 schools in the state to receive the STEM Acceleration Grant.

Students in kindergarten through sixth grade will begin working with digital microscopes, 3D printers, and robotics in the fall of 2018.
