Mishawaka shooting sends one to the hospital

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Mishawaka Police responded to a call about a shooting jus before 5 p.m. Saturday evening. According to officials, one person was sent to the hospital.
According to dispatch, the shooting happened at 4:53 p.m. in the 5000 block of Irish Way in Mishawaka.
One person was taken to a local hospital but there is no official word on the extent of those injuries yet.
Police are currently investigating the scene.
