Missing 12-year-old out of Middlebury believed to be in extreme danger

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding 12-year-old Aleeyah Cockburn, who was last seen at 9:54 p.m. on Friday in Middlebury.

Cockburn is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall, 80 pounds, with short black hair, green eyes and glasses.

She was last seen wearing a black beanie with a doughnut image on the front, a black sweatshirt, a gray and pink jacket, blue jeans and black boots.

Deputies were called to the 53000 block of State Road 13 on Friday on a report that Cockburn left her home without permission earlier that evening. 

Deputies believe Cockburn is in extreme danger.
