Porter Township leadership pass one-year data center moratorium
DOWAGIAC, Mich. - Richard Martin, the 82-year-old pilot who went missing with his plane on Sunday, has been found dead, according to Civil Air Patrol.
Martin and his plane were found at a crash scene in a wooded area about two miles north of Dowagiac.
He originally went missing on Sunday when he took his Sonex plane, which has a Tail Number of N569SX, out for a couple of hours.
Loved ones say it was routine of Martin to fly on Sunday mornings.
The Dowagiac Police Department are conducting an additional investigation into this crash.
Officials are asking anyone with any information that might be pertinent to their investigation to contact the Department directly at 1-269-782-9743.
