Mobile meth lab discovered in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Two people were taken into custody when Mishawaka Police say they discovered a mobile meth lab in a parking lot on S. Merrifield Avenue.

Mishawaka Police officers responded to the 900 block of S. Merrifield Avenue around noon on Wednesday for a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.

When officers arrived, they found two people in the Chevy Camaro. While speaking with one of the occupants, officers discovered an active meth lab inside, reports said.

Both occupants were taken into custody and taken to the police department to be interviewed.
