More Hoosiers are being affected by mosquito-borne virus

At least six more Hoosiers have tested positive for a mosquito-borne virus. The total number of Hoosiers with the virus is now up to seven. 

According to experts from the Center for Disease Control, the virus started showing up in the Caribbean last year.

The virus is not deadly but people infected with it could have arthritis-like symptoms and a high fever that could last for weeks.
