The rain is not over; more showers are likely tonight through Tuesday morning. The weather stays steamy for one more day, then relief. The humidity will drop gradually through the end of the week, then a more significant cool-down arrives next week, with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. This latest round of rain will have to hold us for a while, as rain looks unlikely again for a long stretch. The unknow will be the tropics as hurricanes and tropical storms and throw a wrench in weather patterns, when they form.
Tonight: Scattered storms overnight. Low 70.
Tuesday: Some lingering showers, then lingering clouds. High 82.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. High 80.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 82.
