A clipper system moves through today, bringing snow showers and colder air behind it. Roads are already a little slippery this morning due to the fresh snowfall so give yourself extra time before heading out. Most areas north of US-30 can expect 3-5” of snow and areas south, a general 1-3”. Additional snowfall totals are expected in NW Michiana as lake effect snow develops tonight through Tuesday.
Colder air settles in for the first half of this week but skies finally quiet down Wednesday, lasting into the weekend. Another surge of warm air makes it’s way into Michiana starting Friday, making it above 40 degrees this weekend.
Monday: Scattered snow showers, high of 25.
Tonight: Lake effect snow, low of 9.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with lake effect snow showers, high of 19.
Wednesday: Lake effect ending early, then partly cloudy. Highs in the low 20s.
