Extremely cold temperatures settling in tonight through Tuesday
More lake effect snow kicks in this morning, mainly impacting Berrien and western Cass counties during the commute this morning. Northern St. Joseph County (IN) including South Bend will see snowfall as well, but the main impacts stay in southern Michigan. The snow gradually tapers off this afternoon and evening with highs right around the freezing mark today. Lows bottom out in the 20s tonight but surge back to near 40F tomorrow with mostly cloudy skies. Another round of snow, both lake effect and system, develops late Wednesday night and lasts through Thursday morning, making for another treacherous AM commute for some of Michiana.
Today: AM snow. High 32.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 24.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. High 39.
Thursday: AM snow. High 27.
