Rain returns Thursday, in what looks to be a wet day with showers and even a few thunderstorms that could bring downpours. In total a half inch of rain is likely through Thursday evening. Lingering lighter rain, mist and drizzle linger through Friday. Fall remains on pause, as temperatures climb back to 80 this weekend, and stay mild through next week. This will continue to delay any change in fall color, peak is now likely close to Halloween.
