Morris Performing Arts Center hosting a two-movie series

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Morris Performing Arts Center will be hosting a “Movies at the Morris” series that will feature “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” on Saturday and Disney’s “Soul” on Sunday.

This movie series is a part of the Morris celebrating its 100-year anniversary.

“We’re excited to offer a new way to experience the Morris while helping fund the next 100 years of this historic building. Celebrate a late Valentine’s Day or bring a group of friends and have a fun night out while also being a part of making the Morris even better for the next generation,” said Annie Smith, VPA Chief Development Officer.

Tickets are currently on sale for $15 for the 8 p.m. showing of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” on Saturday. All proceeds from ticket sales will help finance the "Morris 100" capital campaign.

A free showing of Disney’s “Soul” will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Free tickets for this movie screening of “Soul” must be claimed on the Morris Center’s website in order to enter the venue.
