Motel 6 manager arrested after fire reported in his room

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A Motel 6 manager was arrested after firefighters extinguished a fire in his room at the motel, according to St. Joseph County Police.

Firefighters responded to the motel for reports of a stove fire in one of the rooms.

The fire was quickly extinguished.

The occupant of the room, Sandeep Muttreja, was arrested on preliminary charges of intimidation, public intoxication and public indecency.
