Mother and Elkhart man locked up on drug and neglect charges

ELKHART, Ind. –Two people are locked up in Elkhart on drug and neglect charges.
Officers in the drug unit served a search warrant at Midtown Court Apartments.
They found 24-year-old Chelsey Nusbaum and 24-year-old Hervey Clanton Jr.
Her kids were inside of the apartment where police say Clanton was dealing cocaine.
The kids were released to extended family.
