Michigan State Trooper opens fire on suspect in Benton Harbor
DETROIT, MI -- Police are searching for the person who stabbed a mother of four to death inside a vacant home.
Police found the body of 23-year-old La'Diamond Meyers Thursday night.
Investigators say her children -- who range in age from eight-months to five-years-old -- were inside the home when their mother was stabbed multiple times. Meyers was also pregnant with her fifth child.
Neighbors say the mother moved to the home to get away from a troubled relationship.
