Mother of Indiana cave explorer seeks help in search for missing son

CORYDON, Ind.--The mother of a missing Indiana cave explorer is asking for help.

It's been eight days since Kevin Eve was last seen. Police think he disappeared while exploring caves, in Harrison Crawford State Park. His mother, Becky Eve, says he was in the Air Force and has spent lots of time in caves. She's holding out hope, but is worried.

"Not knowing where he is and being at home waiting for that door to open, I think that door is going to open and he's just going to walk in and say, 'Oh, I'm sorry was I supposed to call you people?’ That's the hard part, missing him," said Eve.

She thinks her son is injured and stuck in a cave. Several days ago, police found his car and some clothes along this gravel road.
