Motorcycle crashes into multiple cars causing injuries Saturday

South Bend Police responded to an accident involving a motorcycle and two vehicles Saturday evening.

The crash happened just after 5:00 p.m. near the corner of Bendix Drive and Sample Street in South Bend.

According to police, the motorcycle driver swerved down Sample Street then crashed into one car.

Both people on the motorcycle were ejected from the bike. Police say the female passenger is in serious condition.

ABC 57 spoke with a crash victim who is pregnant and had her other child in the car during the crash.

She said the motorcycle crashed into her and another vehicle.

She also said that the motorcycle driver and passenger were knocked unconscious.

Police believe the motorcycle driver may have been under the influence of alcohol and is said to have non serious injuries.

The driver of the second car is okay.
