Motorcycle crashes after swerving to avoid deer, passenger seriously injured

PULASKI COUNTY, Ind. -- A motorcycle passenger was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition following a crash in Pulaski County early Monday morning.

The crash happened around 3:45 a.m. in the area of CR 1400 West and CR 800 North, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.

The driver of the motorcycle, 36-year-old Daniel Frazier, swerved to avoid a deer in the road and lost control of the motorcycle, according to deputies.

Daniel sustained minor injuries in the crash.

His passenger, 40-year-old Amber Frazier, was in critical condition at the scene and was transported via helicopter to the hospital.

Deputies say alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
