MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department reports deputies responded to the area of Hillcrest Avenue and Oak Court on July 31 around 12:44 p.m. for a crash involving a car and motorcycle.

The report states a 2019 Honda CRV, driven by a 72-year-old Plymouth woman, was pulling out of a driveway onto Hillcrest Avenue.

At the same time, a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by a 58-year-old Plymouth man, was traveling south on Hillcrest Avenue.

Deputies say the woman didn't see the motorcyclist and the man was unable to avoid the Honda.

The motorcyclist then crashed into the Honda.

The man was subsequently airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for leg and head injuries.

The woman was uninjured.
