ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A 21-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead after a fatal two-vehicle crash in the late night of Aug. 15.

Dreavin Richardson was driving a 2003 Yamaha Motorcycle, while traveling west on C.R. 16 west of C.R.1 around 11:50 p.m.

A second vehicle involved in the crash, 2020 KTM Dirt bike driven by 20-year-old Aydin Wells, was also traveling west on C.R. 16 west of C.R.1 around 11:50 p.m.

Richardson ran off the north side of the roadway, slid, and struck a mailbox. He then was thrown off the motorcycle and into the roadway.

Wells then stuck Richardson in the roadway.

Richardson was pronounced dead on the scene and Wells was transported to a hospital for complaints of overall pain.
