Motorcyclist dies following crash on Indiana Toll Road Sunday morning

LAKE COUNTY, Ind. – A motorcyclist died on the Indiana Toll Road Sunday after he lost control and crashed into an informational sign.

According to Indiana State Police, 58-year-old Keith Taylor from Florida was traveling eastbound alongside fellow motorcyclists when he lost control while taking the exit to Ripley Street.

Taylor struck an informational sign and was ejected off his motorcycle.

Troopers say he was taken to North Lake Methodist Hospital in Gary where he died from blunt force trauma.

Taylor was not wearing a helmet.
