Motorcyclist injured after striking tree blocking the road in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. - A motorcyclist was injured after hitting a tree that was blocking a road in Cass County Monday morning, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened just before 5 a.m. on Kessington Road near Guyer Street.

The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old Goshen man, was taken to the hospital for his injuries.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors. The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
