Motorcyclist killed after hitting several mailboxes

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A motorcyclist was killed on SR 331 in Bremen early Monday morning.
According to Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger, 39-year-old Steven Kessenger was in the 2100 block of SR 331 around 4:30 a.m. when he crossed the center line, left the roadway and struck several mailboxes.
Kessenger was found in the front yard of a home and his motorcycle was in the center of the road.
The deputy coroner said it appeared he traveled some distance in the front yards, striking several mailboxes - including a brick one.
The Marshall County Police Department and the Bremen Police Department are handling the investigation
