ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.—A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Elkhart County on July 2, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.
Police said that on Thursday around 5:17 p.m., a motorcycle left the west side of the road on County Road 17, north of County Road 4, and traveled down an embankment.
The driver was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the scene due to his injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office identified the driver as a 69-year-old man from Elkhart.
Police said the crash is still under investigation.
