Three injured after car crashes into Mishawaka home
MISHAWAKA, Ind. ---- A car crashed into a Mishawaka home on 400 East Russ Avenue Monday injuring three people.
It's not clear how the car crashed into the home but officials are investigating.
The 16-year-old driver of a white SUV traveling east on Russ Avenue collided with a gray sedan traveling south. The gray sedan then crashed into the home.
Tim Spencer, Commander of the Fatal Alcohol and Crash Team, says the driver of the white SUV is doing okay but the driver of the gray sedan was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
A man inside the home at the time of the crash was also treated for his injuries and is expected to be okay.
The FACT team is investigating the crash. A portion of Russ Avenue and Division Street in Mishawaka remains closed as investigators work to clear the scene.
