Another frigid start this morning with wind chill well below zero again. We’ll see a quick round of light snow as a weak clipper system passes through. It will have little impact to Michiana. Lake effect snow develops as it pulls away with heavier snow setting up in NW Michiana by Wednesday evening. The higher snowfall totals are expected on Thursday as lake effect snow lasts throughout the day. Travel may be rough with greatly reduced visibility at times. Lake effect snow continues into Friday, finally tapering down in the evening. Saturday is much quieter but the warm up comes on Sunday as highs make it near 30. We are tracking a possible wintry system though that could impact the end of your weekend.
Today: Snow showers, high of 15.
Tonight: Lake effect snow showers, low of 8.
Thursday: Lake effect snow showers, high of 12.
Friday: Lake effect snow showers, highs in the lower teens.
