MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports several 911 calls came in on Saturday, May 24 around 4:18 p.m., regarding a barn fire in the 2000 block of 9B.

A caller told authorities there was heavy smoke with flames showing and several explosions inside.

Authorities say no animals were injured.

The barn was filled with straw and hay.

Several fire departments responded to the fire, including Bourbon Fire, Bremen Fire, Tippecanoe Fire, Etna Township Fire, plus Lutheran EMS.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
