Multiple railroad crossing closures starting in Berrien County

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. - Berrien County Road Department announced railroad crossing closures affecting St Joseph, Stevensville, St. Joseph Township, Lincoln Township, and Lake Township.

CSX will close multiple railroad crossings temporarily for maintenance work to take place.

The Broad Street CSX railroad crossing in the City of St.  Joseph is currently closed and is expected to reopen on May 16.

The Hawthorne Road CSX railroad crossing in St. Joseph Township is currently closed and expected to reopen on May 18.

The Brown School Road CSX railroad crossing in the City of St. Joseph is expected to close around 8 p.m. May 15.

Start dates for the other temporary closures are yet to be determined.
