Murder suspect to undergo competency evaluation

CASS CO., Mich. -- A man accused of murder in Cass County will undergo tests to see if he is fit to stand trial.

Police said Edward Hensley stabbed his sister Martha Sexton to death on June 29 inside their U.S. 12 home.

Officers arrested him several hours later in Elkhart County after a massive manhunt.

On Wednesday, a judge granted a request for a competency exam, which could take several months to complete.
