Murder trial is postponed for the Purdue Engineering student

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. --- The trial date for the student accused of killing another student on the Purdue University campus has been postponed until later this year.


During a hearing Friday, the trial date for 23-year-old Cody Cousins was moved from April 22 to October 6.


The Warsaw resident has been charged with the murder of 21-year-old Andrew Boldt of West Bend, Wisconsin.


Court documents say Boldt was both shot and stabbed.


The documents don't say what the motive was.
