SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Music For A Cause, an organization the helps plan events in Michiana, held a concert at The Well coffee house on February 21.
Proceeds that were raised during the concert will go to St. Margaret’s House, a day center for women and children in need.
This year St. Margaret’s House is celebrating their 30 year anniversary of helping the community.
Music For A Cause holds a live event each month to benefit a different charity.
“There’s tons of events that make money for charity, whether it be races or benefit dinners. This I wanted something to get bands’ music out there while also helping charities,” Founder of Music For A Cause Larry Powell said.
Organizers say that these music events expose people to local artists as well as support organizations that help make South Bend a better place to live.
