Nappanee celebrating Arbor Day with photo contest

NAPPANEE, Ind. – The City of Nappanee Tree Board and Nappanee Parks and Recreation is celebrating the 150th Arbor Day with a photo contest around the Borkholder Nature Center.

Event organizers have hidden five special acorns in the woods near the Borkholder Nature Center for participants to find.

Once you find an acorn, take a photo with it. Once you find all five, make a collage and share it to @NappaneeParks with the hashtag #ArborDay for a chance to win a special prize.

You can also pickup a coloring page at City Hall to participate.

Participants should not remove the acorns when they find them so other players can have a chance to find them, too.
