NASCAR's Earnhardt to miss two races

NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt, Jr will miss Sprint Cup races at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Kansas Speedway after sustaining a concussion in a crash during the final lap at Talladega Super Speedway.

The former Daytona 500 winner has been the most popular driver in NASCAR for the past eight years.

He has competed in 461 consecutive races since 1999.

"As soon as it happened, I knew I had re-injured myself," Earnhardt said.

Regan Smith will drive in Junior's place.
