National Frozen Food Corp. recalls frozen vegetables due to possible Listeria

SEATTLE, Wash. – National Frozen Foods Corporation recalled Individually Quick Frozen green beans and mixed vegetables based on potential Listeria contamination.

According to NFFC, Listeria can cause serious infections in young children, elderly people, and others that suffer from weak immune systems.

Healthy individuals that consume Listeria may suffer short-term symptoms, as well.

These recalled products were distributed to food service accounts in packaged bulk containers in AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, ID, IL, KS, MI, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WA.

The dates to look out for are between Aug. 18th of 2017 to Jan. 12th of 2018.

NFFC provided a list of items and their date codes to ensure their customers’ safety.
