National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is Oct. 24

MICHIGAN – Michigan State Police is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration to provide drop-off points for Michiganders to take excess pills to for National Prescription Take-Back Day.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Michiganders can take their unused, unwanted, and expired pills to be destroyed at any of the 30 MSP posts.

The posts are not accepting liquids, inhalers, syringes, or patches.

All MSP posts also accept unwanted pills weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
