NCAA men’s and women’s national championship games preview

The big stage is set for both the NCAA women’s and men’s national championship games.

The No. 1 South Carolina Gamecocks will face off against the No.1 Iowa Hawkeyes today at 3 PM. It’s a rematch of the 2023 Final Four where Iowa handed South Carolina the 77 to 73 loss.

On the men’s side, it’s another battle of the top seeds as no. 1 Purdue will face off no. 1 UConn.

In addition to being the reigning champions, UConn is looking for a sixth national championship. The Huskies have a chance to become the first school to win back-to-back national championships since Florida in 2006-2007.

Meanwhile, the Boilermakers will play in the championship game for the first time since 1969 when they lost to UCLA.

Tip off for the men’s national championship game will be at 9:20 PM Monday night.
