ND Linebacker Calabrese enters into Pre-trial Diversion Agreement

ST. JOSEPH CO., Ind. -- Notre Dame Senior Linebacker Carlo Calabrese has entered into a Pre-trial Diversion Agreement.

This stems from an incident on May 3, 2012, where South Bend police were called to a loud house party on Notre Dame Ave.

Police said Calabrese threatened an officer by saying, "My people are going to get you." He was subsequently arrested and charged by the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office with Intimidation, a Class A misdemeanor.

Calabrese will be required to perform 20 hours of community service, not commit any crimes until July 30, 2013, and pay fees and court costs of $329 by Oct. 30.

The Pre-trial Diversion Agreement is offered to first time non-violent misdemeanor offenders.
