ND seniors attend their last pep rally as students
Seniors will take to the football field on Saturday for one last time at Notre Dame Stadium as the Fighting Irish take on the Louisville Cardinals.
Friday evening, those seniors had a chance to say goodbye to fans at the pep rally.
A few of the players will go on to play professionally, but for most, this is their last chance to play football.
Team captain and senior safety Austin Collinsworth was filled with emotion as he gave his teammates and fans his message.
"I just want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for so many great memories, and I know that when I look back on my career, when it's all said and done here at Notre Dame, my most fond memory is going to be that whooping we laid on Louisville on my Senior Day, and I can't wait! Go Irish, guys, love you!" said Collinsworth.
Louisville, currently ranked 23rd in the country, is carrying the same record as Notre Dame at 7-3 on the season.
Kick-off is set for Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
