We’re waking up to the coldest air of the season this Wednesday morning. If possible – limit time outdoors this morning. Wear multiple warm, waterproof layers. Temperatures this morning could fall below zero, while wind chill values could fall into the negative teens.
A few light lake effect snow showers or flurries are possible through the early afternoon, then clouds clear, and we’ll see sunshine. Roads could once again be slow going for areas closer to the lake this morning because of snow.
Temperatures stay cold, with a high around 12 today. Wind chill this afternoon will make us feel like we are in the single digits still.
Tonight temperatures fall into the single digits again, but there’s a brief reprieve from the cold Thursday afternoon as we warm into the 30s. Enjoy it briefly – temperatures plummet again as we finish the week.
Another round of snow showers is possible Thursday evening into early Friday morning, then mostly quiet weather will take us into early next week.
Wednesday: Light lake effect snow showers in the morning. Cold but sunny afternoon. High 12.
Tonight: Mostly clear and cold. Low 2.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. PM snow showers. High 30.
Friday: AM snow showers. Partly cloudy. High 20.
