Neighbors upset with plans to replace historic barn with gas station

MISHAWAKA, Ind.- Mishawaka residents came out to an informal public discussion in downtown South Bend Tuesday evening to hear from developers about a historic barn set to be demolished and replaced by a gas station.

The barn sits at the corner of Elm Road and Dragoon Trail. 

Some neighbors suggested other uses for the property, including more residential spaces, a coffee shop, or redesigning the historic barn so that it can remain intact.
