Four people arrested on drug charges following community tips
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. – The Kosciusko County Narcotics Enforcement Team, NET43, followed leads from several concerned citizens of North Webster, which ended in 4 drug-related arrests.
Officers assigned to NET43 stated they performed multiple drug interdiction encounters on Wednesday, with continued investigations the following days that concluded with a search warrant for illegal drugs and associated items.
During the interaction with various suspects, NET43 investigators intercepted approximately 241 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a loaded 40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, a Smith and Wesson 9mm, $5,991 in cash, morphine tablets, Xanax, marijuana, and paraphernalia, investigators said.
Four people were arrested as part of the operation:
- Corey Michael Dains of Mishawaka, on preliminary charges of dealing/possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
- Mitchell Patrick Hall of Wolcottville, on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and driving while suspended.
- Anthony Hoover of North Webster, on preliminary charges of dealing of methamphetamine over 10g, possession of methamphetamine over 10g, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance.
- Cherrie Fox of North Webster, on preliminary charges of dealing of methamphetamine over 10g, possession of methamphetamine over 10g, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance.
