New app promises to give mosquitoes the buzz

With the rain finally making its way to us, that also means that mosquitoes could also be headed this way.

And the best way to repel them could be in your pocket.

Right now there's a misquote app that "claims" to produce an ultrasonic sound so high-pitched that it's indictable to humans. It makes a sound that scares the mosquitoes away.

Of course, there's no scientific proof that it does or does not work. But the app does continue to buzz.
