New Buffalo teacher charged in investigation

A New Buffalo Middle School teacher accused of taking inappropriate pictures of students has now been charged in the investigation.

Police charged 37-year-old Aaron Badger, of Bridgman, Michigan, with two counts of Capturing/Attempting to Capture Image of Unclothed Person/Undergarments and two counts of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime, which are both felonies.

The charges stem from incidents that allegedly happened September 19 and October 3, 2014 inside a New Buffalo Middle School classroom where Badger taught.

The teacher has been arraigned and is free on bond.

A pre-exam conference is set for November 14.
