New Castle man accused of trying to rip out woman's dentures

NEW CASTLE, Ind. -- An Eastern Indiana man is arrested for allegedly trying to rip a woman's dentures right out of her mouth.

Sunday, a woman told police 51-year-old John Dicken grabbed her by the face, and tried to rip out her false teeth.

This happened in New Castle near Indy. Dicken is now facing battery charges. He was also charged with possession of marijuana, resisting police, and public intoxication.

Police say Dicken did know the victim.
