STARKE COUNTY, Ind. -- New details have been released surrounding the death investigation of two people in Monterey.

The Starke County Sheriff’s Department says deputies conducted a welfare check at a residence on the 8000 block of Elm Street after receiving a report of a woman who didn’t show up for work that day.

Upon arrival, deputies found a family member at the residence who said Clifford Foster, 53, and Lynn Foster, 52, were deceased in the home.

According to officials, both died from single gunshot wounds.

Autopsies are scheduled for Monday as this case is still under investigation.
