New details released about fatal fire

The La Porte County Sheriff's Office has released new details in the fatal fire at a mobile home near Kingsford Heights Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the mobile home at 7701 S US6&35 at 9:19 a.m.
Firefighters entered the home and found a body inside after extinguishing the fire.
The victim has been identified as 73-year-old Frances Workman.
Her cause of death was determined to be smoke and soot inhalation. Her manner of death was ruled accidental.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation but it is not believed to be suspicious and foul play is not suspected.
