New feature on billboards could cause potential distractions
UNITED STATES -- There's a new potential distraction for drivers on the road.
Have you noticed these squiggly boxes on billboards? They're called QR codes. Advertisers post them so you can scan them with your smart phones to get more info about a product.
The company that owns this billboard, “Clear Channel,” did not have a comment about whether it was safe to have the billboard posted right off of a freeway.
