New firework stand opens for summer season

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – It’s another sign of summer.
A pop-up fireworks shop is open along State Road 933. It's called Phantom Fireworks. The owners are from out of town and said they are excited to be able to set up business in the area and get to work.
"We got Memorial weekend coming up, people just like to see pretty colors and some people like how noisy they are,” said Dave Nackovic. “We got a little something for everybody going on over here."
Nackovic said he was busy selling fireworks for Notre Dame's graduation. He is hoping to do well this weekend leading up to the 4th of July.
