SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The City of South Bend launched a new program to support the hiring of international employees by matching funds to sponsor H-1B visas.
The High Skill Immigration Fund, which opens on March 20, allows any business with an office located in South Bend to apply for matching funds to support processing costs for hiring international employees.
The city also partnered with enFocus to host educational events for employers and local international residents and students.
At noon on January 26, the city and enFocus will host the first webinar in the educational series.
Registration is required to join the webinar.
