New KinderCare construction for Notre Dame faculty, staff and students

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The University of Notre Dame partners with KinderCare to provide daycare to the university's faculty, staff and students.

Notre Dame rises to meet the needs of the community by adding ease between work/school and family.

The construction will begin next year, and finished by summer 2025, to create an on-site facility on the north edge of campus by White Field, Beichner Hall and The Landings at Notre Dame apartments for kids ages six weeks to three years old.

Current Early Childhood and Development Centers (ECDC) will continue on Notre Dame and St. Mary campuses for children age 2 to kindergarten.

"ECDC has provided superb programs for children of Notre Dame faculty, staff and students for more than 50 years, and we will continue to offer this benefit to families," said Father Jenkins. "With the construction of the new facility [...] Notre Dame will extend its support for families by offering care for infants and young children."
